Sgraffito means scratching in Italian: You will learn how to decorate a bisque fire pot, using this ancient method of decorating. It is a relatively easy technique to learn that involves scratching through a glazed pot to reveal the clay underneath.
What you will discover:
you will learn how to glaze your pot
How to place a design on your vessel
What tools to use and how to scratch your design
with no previous experience needed, this is an easy workshop
Please note… I will keep your pot at the end of the class and once it has been fired , approximately 2 weeks, you can either come and pick it up or I will post it too you at an additional charge.
